A non-monetary contribution is known as an ‘In Kind’ donation.  I thought it would be a good idea to share with you what I am currently collecting for monthly distributions to the homeless.  Right now, these items are being collected for the homeless in Colorado by a great organization called Homeless Gear.  If we are able to increase the numbers of items collected, we can certainly distribute beyond our local needs.

My current focus is bandaids.  If you can send a box, please do.  Contact me by posting a comment.  If your group or organization are looking for a ‘healing’ idea for an activity,  please let me know.

Oh, if you are also collecting items in your community for the homeless, please feel free to post a need here and a way to get it to you.  If you are looking to make a cash donation, go to the Homeless Gear donation page.  Make sure you let Ken know this is for bandaids/first aid supplies.
